âWe stayed here for two nights. Very charming hotel. It looks and feels like a manor house. We really enjoyed our stay there and liked our room. Very comfortable and clean. No air conditioning but there are plenty of windows that open and a lovely fresh breeze comes in. The room has a kettle and tea making as well as a safe. âLocation is great for the town and if you cant find any parking on the street there is a carpark about 5min walk away @ ÂŁ3 - 24hrs.
Property is currently up for sale and needs a little work but the bathroom and kitchen are relatively new and everything else has had a lick of paint just needs a bit of modernising and the garden needs work and isnt secure at the back meaning the dog needed to be let out on a lead every time but did us for the short break we had.â
âNo frills .just nice and simple. Well equipped self catering kitchen . But a place to buy meals . . Fave bit for me was the shower so hot and powerfull i didnt want to get out â

Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadnât assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasnât dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didnât work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest aroundâ
