âHosts thought of everything! From the well appointed kitchen with snacks to the great body wash in the shower. The studio is beautiful. Perfect industrial look that mimics the area in which it belongs. Definitely will book again! â
âNot wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didnât disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! â
âVery clean and quiet location but easy to walk to everything. Our hosts and all the staff were so welcoming. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and quickly served. A great experience and we would certainly come back!â
âWe really enjoyed the Statler for an anniversary getaway. The whole experience was greatâthe location is prime for Stauntonâs downtown, the common areas of the house were well appointed and well stocked with various treats, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and they are very thoughtful about providing what you need to have a great stay.
It is a historic house, so be prepared for creaky floors and for sound to bounce around the house in strange ways. But, again, they provided a sound...
âWhile the property is lovely and the stay has been nice, I will say that the information provided before finalizing the booking was missing pertinent information.
There was no mention of the two sets of stairs at the front entrance. There was no mention of receiving a code for entry to property until after I booked a non-refundable booking. I had sent a query to the property but did not receive an answer before booking later the same day (the day of arrival).

âJust park your car and walk to see Staunton Historic District. The rental was AWESOME!!!! Just like the pictures. Nice neighborhood. We decided to stay an extra day, the communication was quick & done. We are already talking about coming back in spring. The whole experience was wonderful. Book this, youâll love your stay :)â

âIt was one of the cleanest, well-lit motels we've ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was ample, and breakfast was good.
And PLEASE keep it pet-free for those of us with allergies or just don't like to smell animal pee in the hallways.
