âProperty was good, but the pool is located adjacent to the lobby which is kinda weird. Additionally the pool was cloudy, so we were not going in it. That said the room was super clean and the topper was the breakfast! It was a borderline breakfast buffet and it was pretty good. Cudos to whoever runs the breakfast!â

âThe Brookside Inn of Laurens is a wonderful find. The owner clearly cares deeply about making his guests feel welcome and well cared for. He makes fresh breakfast every morning, which are simple but excellent and he will work with you to accommodate special dietary needs within reason. The rooms are all color coordinated and he has updated electrical outlets to include some built in USB outlets. Small details like this can be found throughout the rooms and house. â
âThe cottage we stayed in was adorable with our own little porch. John was so welcoming. The food for breakfast looked amazing even though we didnât have the chance to eat. They offer thoughtful touches like a sâmores set up for you if you want to sit by the fire pit and fresh cookies to take during the day. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you are in Cooperstown. â
