âWe loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is âfreeâ offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. âWe just enjoyed a fabulous stay at The Restoration. The lighting, decor, and spa-like fragrance immediately made us feel relaxed and at home. We stayed in a signature suite - this room was HUGE and the modern farmhouse esthetic really fit with the city. The room service breakfast basket was unique and fun. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to help. The Restoration is truly a Charleston gem!â
âTo charge 8 dollars for a bottle of water in the room when you pay 550 dollars a night is just so unattractive. Furtheron, also there was a note saying enjoy the bath amenities like cotton pads during your stay - if you bring some home there will be a charge! â

âHad a great stay. Excellent location in the Historic district. My friend and I got a clean, spacious big corner room with lots of light and the Inn was homey and nicely decorated. They serve a comtinental breakfast in the room, which helped us get a good start before exploring Charleston. Every afternoon they also offered cheese and wine in their sister property in the building next door. Highly recommended!â
âOne of the oldest hotels in Charleston in need of some refreshments. We booked a suite and it was quite allright but but no minibar, stains on every furniture (which is fine, you canât replace them every time) but also a big stain on the duvet cover on the bed. Got to be something that can be cleaned or replaced. But ours was there for all four nights. The restuarant is great! Especially for dinner. Breakfast is not worth having, go somewhere else on the street. â
