“I loved the way the owners have a large selection of vhs' to take to your room. The room was clean. The lake is beautifully nestled in a small valley that is not overly polluted with noise from the highway near-by. I was sad that the owners were not able to open their restaurant this year due to staffing issues. But will definitely be back and am looking forward to that Italian meal.”

“We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was fully stocked. Lots of ameneties at your disposal which was convienent and dog friendly;) Only a little challenge is the attached bathroom was on the exterior so you had to exit the cabin and go over to bathroom. Property was very clean.”

“Beautiful lake, cabin was semi-clean, needs a deep clean. Cabin has a strong, musty mothballs smell( not pleasant in my opinion). For the price that we paid per night, I felt that firewood should be included. We had some cold, rainy days and the inside electric fire sound like it was going to blow up so we had to turn the stove on to warm up the place. Barbeque that they provided was not in good repair and was full of cigarette butts.”

“We had a great family vacation! The lake was wonderful for the kids to swim and explore, kayaking was fun on the calm water. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The little kids enjoyed the swings and playing games in the yard. Everyone fell in love with the duck that visited every day for treats! Fishing...well...that wasn't so good but it was relaxing. We were quite disappointed the hot tub wasn't available. All in all, though, this was a great place for our annual family...

“What a great place and hosts. Our experience is that the pictures and descriptions online overpromise, in this case the opposite is true. Its even better! Bill and Lisa thank you for the wonderfull time, for us and the kids. Showing us the canadian way of life. Fishing, shooting enjoying nature. Kids where crying that we had to leave. “Is exactly as advertised. It is in the country about a half a kilometre from the lake. There are horses, dogs & cats to enjoy. My room was spacious & comfortable. There’s also a common room & a common kitchen with your personal mini fridge. The hostess offered to prepare breakfast & dinner, presumably for a fee but I travel self-sufficient & was very comfortable preparing my own meals & dining in the common area & in the beautifully set up lawn area on the day the weather complied.
