Cozy Private Guest House near Neuse River, Pet-Friendly!

Just on the outskirts of town is a quiet neighborhood near the Neuse River and Buffaloe Athletic Park. Willow Creek Guest House, a private apartment just off the main house, was established in March 2023. We are on just over an acre of yard, gardens and trees with plenty of open space.

The guest house consists of 3 rooms: A comfortable front living space with small sofa, two lounging chairs, 40" flat screen SmartTV with Roku. The main sleeping area has a comfortable queen size bed and is large enough to accommodate a chest of drawers, kitchenette, small dining area and desk. A foldable cot/air mattress (double) is available for additional sleeping. For guests with dogs, you must add the pet fee when you book. Dog bowls, leashes and treats are made available for your fur-babies.

Willow Creek Guest House is 6 miles from downtown Raleigh, 8.5 miles from NC State University and 14 miles from RDU Airport.

We loved staying at this sweet little guest house! It was the perfect base for a lot of adventuring. very quiet and calm, a great place to recharge. Bed was super comfy, shower was nice, mirror had nice lighting. we enjoyed the little breakfast nook and cooktop as well as the patio seating. Not too far from downtown raleigh and a manageable drive to chapel hill. Wifi and signal wasn’t super strong so I wouldn’t recommend trying to take a video call or anything here. we also enjoyed the village district shopping center about 15 min away. I loved seeing the little amenities for dogs tucked away.

Great experience from placing the reservation to checkout! Quiet ocation was perfect for easily getting around Raleigh while visiting friends in the area. Communication was great and hosts were more like old friends. We definitely recommend this A guest cottage!

Peaceful and pleasant

Neighborhood was in a great area. Peaceful and beautiful homes. The guest house was just the right size for both of us. The owners were amazing. Anne Marie and Tony made us feel right at home. It was evident they made an effort to offer a lot of amenities including coffee K-cups, teas, sugar and creamer. Dog bowls for food and water if needed. Even doggie treats on the counter. Bed was great, loved the blankets. Her interior decorating skills are beautiful. We LOVED the patio out back. It was so peaceful sitting out there every morning drinking our coffee and watching and listening to the birds. It is a great setting to relax. We had so much fun there enjoying the place and Anne Marie and Tony. We were sad to leave. And looking forward to our next time we can go back

Wonderful place to Stay

I stayed here during Christmas so I could visit my daughter and her family. This was my second time here and I will go again. It is so comfortable, easy to get to but more important I feel safe there. I would totaly recommend!

Peaceful stay

I had a lovely stay at Anne Marie and Tony’s place. I was in town for a wedding and wanted a little getaway for myself between all the events and this was just what I needed. Quiet property, tucked away, beautiful garden to have your morning coffee, private parking, nice little kitchen. Hosts are quick to respond and very helpful! Would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful stay!!

This was a great location in a very nice walkable neighborhood-very neat and clean with everything we needed. We appreciated that it was pet friendly with a big yard for our dog to wonder. The owners were super friendly & responded quickly to any questions we had-we will definitely be back again!!

Great Relaxing Location with Good Amenities

Great Stay for a Couple!

My boyfriend and I visited Raleigh for about a month, and Anne Marie’s guest house was exactly what we needed! It was well furnished, had desks/tables we used to work from home, and it was quite cozy as well. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard and biking around the neighborhood. Raleigh downtown was only 20 minutes away. What we appreciated most about our stay was how hospitable Anne Marie and her husband Tony were with us. When we had questions or needed help, they were always there to assist! I would recommend Anne Marie’s guest house to anyone interested in exploring the Raleigh area!

Maybe my fav ever VRBO experience

Anne Marie’s place was amazing! This guest house is well appointed, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. The back yard/garden was so nicely shaded and peaceful, too! Anne Marie was super communicative and kind. I couldn’t recommend this place any more.

FANTASTIC

I walked into the living room area and just loved it, then I went into the kitchen area/bedroom and thought this is awesome. It was so much better than a hotel. Everything was just right. Puzzles and games in the living room, kitchen had an ice maker, refrigerator, table and more, then the bed was so comfortable. The main thing is i went down by myself and I felt safe. Thank you so very much and I plan on staying here again

The cutest coziest stay!

My husband had a training seminar in Raleigh, we’re located in nc ourselves but didn’t want to make a 2 hr trip there and back in one day. So we decided to find something close by for the two of us. The price was what sold us initially, then location, and then the pictures. Annemarie has quite the eye! Everything was so cute, and made work with style! The kitchen is in the bedroom and it gives a breakfast in bed vibe. The bathroom is so spacious and clean and the living room area was just so cozy! I really loved the little touches that made it homey but also gave tips for knowing how things worked and went. Like the little labels for light switches and plug ins. Very helpful. Everything is close by in distance, just a hop skip away from food drinks shopping and the location of the training place. The inside of the place was perfect, and the outside is just as well. A beautiful garden and plants everywhere. Loved the atmosphere of this little home. 10/10 would stay again if we ever found ourselves back in Raleigh.

Good safe neighborhood

We stayed for a lacrosse tournament in the area. It was a perfect location for us and only 15 min to downtown where there is a plethora of good restaurants. Anne-Marie was very welcoming and the property is peaceful and quaint with lots of birds. Everything we needed and many extras. Anne-Marie was even so kind to share some clippings from her plants and packed them so they would make the trip back home. Much better experience than any hotel room. Thank you for sharing your home!
