Renovated Raleigh Bungalow

Renovated Ranch Bungalow just minutes to Downtown Raleigh, NCSU and RDU, Walnut Creek Amphitheater, Red Hat Amphitheater, PNC Arena and much more! This space is perfect the weekend getaway, visiting your favorite sports event or traveling for business. There are 2 desk spaces with one printer and complimenatry WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped - ranging from our coffee bar to fully renovated kitchen with gas range. We also offer full use of our washer and dryer (detergent is supplied). This bungalow also offers a large back deck with privacy fence - great for your morning coffee or reading and relaxing.

Raleigh just opened its first Wegmans Grocery store (a few minutes away/Wake Forest Rd) so you may want to venture out to stock up the kitchen for your stay.

Parking: Plenty of parking space in the long driveway.

Upon check out, Please put your sheets and towels in the wash and Load and Run the dishwasher if there are any dirty dishes.

Early Check-In is $30.00 per hour
Late Check-Out is $30.00 per hour

This is a quiet and private neighborhood and any gatherings are Strictly Prohibited. Any guests that stay in the home Must be noted on the reservation. In consideration of the neighbors, I ask that noise be kept to a minimum after 9 PM.

No smoking on the premises. There will be a $350 fine for any evidence of smoking In or around the unit.

The bungalow is a beautiful property. All of the rooms are very nice and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed to cook any meal. The neighborhood is nice and quiet.Kim is a great host and responded quickly to any questions.

We rented this to go to a concert at Coastal Credit (Walnut Creek). It was easy to get in and out of neighborhood. Food Lion was right down the street and we were able to get to the show very conveniently. Laundry onsite and beautiful coffee bar provided an extra touch. Communication was frequent and effortless. Excellent host, beautiful house, and convenient location. Definitely hope to rent again for a future concert at Walnut Creek.

Nice cozy place it just need the furniture cleaned and dusted. The Host Kim was understanding and addressed my concerns. I'm traveling while recovering from a hip replacement surgery and the bed was amazingly comfortable and the walk in shower was most accommodating I'd stay here again in the future. Thank you Kim

There have been some nice updates to this VRBO. As a previous owner of a VRBO, I do notice things. Showers were nice and kitchen area, but we did not use stove. Some things need a little cleaning and repairing. Please throw out the coffee flavors on wall...almost empty and outdated. The need to jiggle the master bathroom commode handle to stop it from running is costly to owner if renters do not notice and stop the running. The master bedroom door is coming apart and it pops loudly when opening as it sticks to frame. We didn't spend too much time outside due to the heat, but the outside areas could use some updating and clean up. The trash cans at the street in front of the property is unsightly. If I was neighbors, I would complain. There were wet sheets and towels in dryer when we arrived, which we rewashed as they smelled. The dryer was forever in drying, even when we split up the load of rewashed sheets and towels. In all, the location was good for us for the wedding venue and a little local shopping.

Perfect Stay

Short stay, we walked in and wow! 3 Bed/2 Bath with plenty of privacy. Renovations had feeling of stepping into an episode on HGTV network. Clear instructions, new appliances, everything you need & more. We would love to come back & extend our stay.

A trip to remember

This property is absolutely lovely and very “homey” if that’s how you say. It was the absolute cherry on top for our trip. The property was stunning and it had what we needed during our trip. The host is lovely and communicative. I would definitely recommend others to come stay.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however we did have some issues. Our key code was not set up at 3pm when we arrived, so we had to wait outside for about 30 minutes to get it set up by the host. Then once we got inside, we discovered that the house had not been cleaned. I called the host and she asked if I wanted her to come by and clean and I said yes, She did a quick clean while we were there which was a little bit awkward but by 6:30 PM we were able to enjoy the house on our own. I think it would’ve been appropriate for the host to offer us some sort of discount, but she did not. There were also some things missing/lacking, like only one towel & face cloth per person for the weekend, one kitchen towel, no soap in the master bathroom, no coffee filters, and no extra trash bags. These may have been things that would’ve been provided by the cleaning service, but we did not have that. Hopefully the host can ensure that this does not happen again because it was a great little house with a beautiful backyard.

LOVED THIS GEM!!

We stayed here sadly for only one night while traveling on a food tour through the South. I wish we could have stayed here longer, the house is adorable, the beds were super comfy, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again! A meal at The Blind Pelican is a must!
