  • Experience Raleigh like a local in this historic 2-bedroom house. We call it "Bob's Mom's House". Nestled in a fantastic neighborhood near the village district, this charming property features 2 queen beds, a cozy living space, and a well-equipped bathroom with a shower. We had some fun decorating the with vinyl records and provide a working record player. Guests can relax in the serene atmosphere or explore the nearby Fletcher Park and Cameron Village. Such a cute house perfect for a weekend away! We didn’t know much about the area but three of us girls felt comfortable walking to local bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. We absolutely adored the disco room and enjoyed playing music on the record player. The hosts were very responsive and adaptable to our itinerary, would definitely book with them again!

This was just the right place for us for what we were doing visiting different members of our family during our four day stay. We were equidistant to almost all of them so navigating in and around the city was so easy. The space feels just like a home and not a shell. Nice touches throughout, record player with albums to play was a particular bonus, Dolly Parton was on the top of the stack, the day after her passing. Pickleball account right around the corner in a beautifully active park. The outside deck felt private for us to take meals out there and the front entrance was welcoming for us to drink coffee in the morning.

Very charming house with everything we needed. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch and cocktails on the back deck. Conveniently located near downtown. Our second stay with these hosts and they are very accommodating and always have bottled water and snacks for us! We will always try to stay with them when visiting our daughter who lives in Raleigh!
