“It's super affordable, lobby was inviting and decorated for the holidays, young man at the front desk was very polite. There's ice machine and a microwave available on the lobby floor. Room was pretty clean. Had a small fridge to keep things cool. We checked for bed bugs etc. None were found. Bed sheets weren't dirty but we have a feeling they weren't changed. They had very fuzzy balls. Maybe it's just because of the kind of fabric which everything sticks too. We usually bring our own sheets so...

“OK hotel located rather close to Manhattan but it takes a very long time to get there and back, especially on peak times. We had to take a long detour and it took three hours to get to the hotel from Central Park. Rush hours the traffic to New Jersey is crazy. While none of this is the fault of the hotel, I would never stay in New Jersey again since I value our time on vacation. The hotel breakfast was… sad. Paper plates. “Front desk staff was so kind and helpful. Bathroom was the cleanest hotel bathroom I think I’ve ever had. We booked here because it was last minute and getting a room in Manhattan was impossible without spending a crazy amount of money. Now I think I’d definitely go there again. Super easy to get down into the city. Easy to get to from outside of the city. Super close to the zoo and Botanical Gardens. Great experience all in all. ”
