We stayed a few nights and it felt more like visiting a friend than staying at a hotel. The owner took care of every little thing, and every evening there was something homemade waiting for us, a nice touch after a day out! The surroundings were great too, with a hot tub and a waterfall nearby, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The whole place is cozy, clean, and clearly cared for down to the smallest detail. Everything is just perfectly orgnised for a comfortable stay. The cherry on the ice is the served hot waffle for breakfast. The hosts are so warm and helpful.

Fantastiskt hus, nära golden circle sevärdigheter. Lätt att ta sig runt med bil. Nära Selfoss med bra utbud av affärer och bensinstationer. Lätt att checka in, allt sker via mail och distans.

A little slice of heaven! Gorgeously situated by a small lake complete with a swan family, a fantastic cabin (“room” does this place wrong), and a wonderful restaurant just a stone’s throw away. We stayed a night and regretted we couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely come back!

Stayed 3 nights at this fantastic place, which is perfectly located for day-trips around the southern part of the island. Cosy cottages in as-new condition, fully furbished kitchenette was perfect for cooking meals, slept like babies in a large double-bed and twin sofa (very easy to unfold/fold).
