We had a fabulous experience. The home is well decorated, very comfortable, and has everything you might need. We used the kitchen and grill, appreciated plenty of seating in the family room and access to WiFi/tv for relaxing after a full day of exploring.

This cozy home served as a great home base for all of our travels around Rapid City. From the Badlands to Devils Tower, it was comforting to know that we could all decompress in our own spaces and then reconvene in the living room to plan the next day. It was a perfect place for our family of four!

This property was just perfect for us. Nice rooms with comfortable beds, everything very clean and in good shape. Great comfortable space for relaxing as well as dining. Great places to sit out front as well as back, to enjoy a coffee or a drink. My teens appreciated the TV in each room! Randall checked in on our needs just enough and was very responsive. Will definitely stay here if available for a next trip to Rapid!

Cozy, Clean & Comfy

We had a wonderful stay at Randall and Shannon’s place. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfy and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. We especially liked the fenced-in backyard. It was a lovely place to rest after full days of exploring the Black Hills. I highly recommend this space for families. On top of that, the hosts were wonderful too—quick communication with any questions I had and they checked in to see how things were going.

We planned to visit the Badlands, Mt Rushmore and the Black Hills, and this property in Rapid City was conveniently located near all the things we wanted to do. The property was lovely, comfortable, private, and quiet. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the tools we could need, and the bathroom and bedrooms were also generously supplied with linens. This home was very comfy and cozy and very centrally located to all of the things we wanted to do in Rapid City. Randall was very attentive and had great communication even before our stay. The house seemed to be in a very safe neighborhood, cul-de-sac, so the kids had a very safe place to play. The front porch is nice and large so we spent time out there watching the kids live their best lives. The back has an amazing covered porch for sitting and watching kids play as well. Upon entering the home, there is a large wall hanging that has brochures of local attractions, which I thought was such a neat touch and done in a very tasteful manner. We had forgotten a tablet charger there and when contacted about it, he had no reservations or hesitations in telling me he would drop it in the mail. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would note, but should not take away from the home or great experience in any way is that we had to buy our own kitchen sponge, Saran Wrap and ziplock baggies. We also ran out of supplied trash bags. These were very minor and easily solvable inconveniences. Overall, I would 10/10 recommend staying with Randall!

Black Hills Vacation

The house was wonderful! Everything was very clean and cozy. The house had everything we needed and was very spacious! The location was great for doing activities in Rapid City, but also for seeing other things in the Black Hills. The neighborhood was nice and so were all of the neighbors. The hosts were very prompt to respond and made sure we were taken care of. We had a great time during our stay and would definitely stay here again next time we're in the Black Hills!
