A funky & modern stay in the heart of Rapid City, SD. Walking distance from Downtown, the Monument (formerly known as the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center) and popular in-town hiking trails on M-Hill. Everything is curated to make you fall in love with the space, but comfortable enough to make you feel right at home! Off-street parking and aesthetically pleasing space. Responsive hosts who love to serve our guests! *WE ALLOW UP TO TWO DOGS ONLY. PET FEE APPLICABLE. THERE IS A ONE-TIME PET FEE OF $75.

Just a short drive or walk away from the best local restaurants, shops, and the Monument Arena (formerly known as the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.)

We recommend renting a vehicle for your stay, as our city’s public transit is lacking. Uber & Lyft are available in Rapid City
Some quick property rules:

-This property is dog-friendly! :) If you plan to bring your dog, pre-approval is required. There is also a one-time pet fee of $75 per pet. We allow up to 2 dogs as long as they are fully potty trained, will stay off of the bed and couch, and will not be in the house alone unless kenneled. Dog waste must be disposed of and any damages or additional cleaning may incur additional fees. Also, furry feline friends are lovely but unfortunately, we do not accept cats at this particular property.

-No Smoking or Vaping of any substances. If we find evidence of any kind of smoking or vaping in the property there will be a minimum of $250 added to your stay. The property is smoke free.

-Please respect neighbors by being quiet after 10pm and 8am. You are in your own house with no shared walls so it is pretty easy to meet this expectation.

The heating was not centralized and noisey. The beds were comfortable. Living room furniture was not comfortable. Almost every place we stay at has only toxic teflon pans to use. Many stay in a vrbo to avoid unnecessary toxiciy. There will be a growing movement to use safe cookware. I encourage you to lead the way. Shower was small but adequate: nice pressure and hot water. It met our needs for this stay. We really appreciated accommodation of our equest for early entry and a 2 hour extension on our stay due to the Interstate closed.

Communication with the host was fantastic. They responded quickly while ensuring our needs were met. The home itself was very cute. We stayed in the lower section of the house but there is an upper area you can rent. The amenities more than met our needs as they look to be recently renovated. Overall, we would definitely stay again.

When we booked, The listing stated “you are in your own house with no shared walls…”. This is a duplex sharing walls. You’re in a redone basement. It’s a downstairs apartment with renters upstairs who are very loud. They since changed the listing. In addition, i have no idea why people are rating this place as clean. Absolutely not clean and honestly pretty sloppy renovation. Trash left in the yard near the shed. If that kind of stuff doesn’t bother you, go for it- but we Wish we would have left before check out.

Great

Great little property. We celebrated an early Christmas with some of our family and the kitchen was just right for making our meals. We were able to enjoying some games and family time and the accommodations were just right. We very much appreciated the pet friendly space as well.

The place is fine, however thought the listing was NOT clear that this was a basement apt with walkout into the back yard. Appliances, plumbing, kitchen were new and clean, but footsteps/noises from apt above were noticeable and not advised until after booking.

Cute cozy apartment. Overall nice place more description of the possible noise from upstairs would be helpful also maybe a no shoes policy for the upstairs rental would be great. We did enjoy our stay overall but a couple nights were kind of loud upstairs. Also left with some questions of cleaners performance multiple towels hanging in bathroom and mattress covers were questionable.

Nice little place!

We stayed here on a recent trip out west, just passing through Rapid City. Communication was great and checkin/out was super easy. The place is clean, quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood felt safe if a little run down. Overall a great value!
