Kia Orana MohammedThank you for your review on Moana Sands Beachfront Villas.We do indeed have WIFI available on the property, supplied by a Vodafone hotspot (therefore we are making no profit off this service), however as we are located on a tiny island in the middle of the South Pacific, this is sometimes affected by things out of our control such as weather or internet outages. I believe that you will also find that there are only a select few places which offer ‘free wifi’ here in the Cook Islands, which is often part of a package deal so built into the price.We are disappointed that you feel that we charge for items not usually charged elsewhere, as the only thing we can say that we charge extra for is laundry tokens and phone calls, which is rather standard worldwide at resorts or rental accommodations.Finally, you will be pleased to know that the property will be undergoing renovations in order to ‘freshen up’, and we certainly have taken your comments on board. We do hope that you enjoyed your stay in the beautiful Cook Islands regardless and that you would consider returning to our sunny shores in the future.

Thank you for your review on your recent stay with Moana Sands Beachfront Villas & Apartments. We have some soft refurbishment planned for our quieter time which addresses your comment of being dated. The Villas & Apartments are sold as a Self-catering option as there are dining options close by. As you state there is the Coco Latte Café next door that does very well, Food Box Takeaways across the road that has a good variety of burgers, plates and chicken. 300 metres to the north is Vaimas Restaurant that serves good consistent meals from Pizzas through to full A la Carte dishes. 500 metres to the south is the Yellow Hibiscus Restaurant at the Palm Grove that also serves a great variety of meal options. To this end we chose not to put a Restaurant On-site. Thank you again for your comments and my Team and I look forward to hosting you again in the future.

Kia Orana, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We have the furthest distance between the Reef and the beach on the Island which is about 600 metres making it a great safe snorkeling area. I am not sure what bugs you found but being a tropical environment we do have ants as an issue when any food is left out or spills of sweet liquids. There is also the "Moko", gheko lizard that go after the ants and mosquitos. My apologies for negative experience of the bugs but rest assured this is due to the surrounding environment rather any cleanliness issues.
