“The view is supreme. The room is very clean and quite well-appointed for the class of hotel. The location is very near to town just up the way to its hilltop perch. A good walk or short tuk tuk ride . The staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was good. I had reason to contact the manager and he responded quickly to sort out my issue. I highly recommend Mountjoy Ella.”

“Buona struttura, ottimo host, molto disponibile e cortese. Colazione tipica.

“Very charming little guesthouse right in Ella town but not on the main street. Nice breakfast served on the balcony. Hot water ran out on our first night but not on the second. ”

“A very nice owner who made an amazing breakfast. The room was nice and clean and had a stunning view. Very close to Ella city center and various restaurants as well as Nine Arches Bridge. I would really recommend this place!”

“We had a lovely stay at Ella Retreat. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and included a fridge, kettle, little cooktop and kitchen sink which was handy. We had one of the best breakfasts of our trip here - it was delicious and very generous with portions, with lots of options to choose from. Just look out for the monkeys who might pay you a visit with an eye for your food! Complimentary archery was fun, and we loved the rustic charm of the place. Please note that you can...

“The price point is way too high for what you get. We thought this would be a nice place but is very basic. You can find the same standard and view to much better place. The bed was old, the shower pressure was almost non existing, dripping almost when you had hot water. ”

“ Nice pool, friendly staff, bra wifi”

“We had a really fantastic stay at the hotel. The family who owns the place are super friendly and very helpful. The rooms were nice, the view fantastic and the food really great! ”

“Otrolig utsikt och mycket fina rum. ”

“This was a very pleasant basic hotel with an extraordinary view of the valley. The staff were super helpful. The breakfast was plentiful. The AC worked well. The only catch was when the generator didn’t work during a brief brownout.”
