“Excellent accommodation, perfect for exploring the lakes. Just off the A66 with plenty of parking. I stayed 3 nights in the single room. It was warm, cosy and comfortable with a nice en-suite bathroom. Great food with vegetarian and vegan option. Very reasonably priced and friendly and helpful hosts, I would highly recommend. ”

“The whole hotel was spotless, everyone was so kind, nothing was a problem, a special shout out to Sarah, she was always on hand, friendly and happy to help, it makes a big difference to a happy stay. Food was good and hot, room was warm and bed was fab with proper pillows, not the small hard rocks that other hotel favour! This is our second stay and it is a great base to explore the lakes from. Highly recommended. ”

“Nice hotel in the centre of town. The ground floor is a bar/restaurant during the day and breakfast area in the morning. The room was clean, fresh and modern. ”

“We stopped for a night during a long drive home with a rescue dog we had picked up just hours before. The staff were immediately welcoming; kind and friendly.
