Be wary of booking a stay here. As we were driving into Red River we received a message that the reservation should not have gone through as the property was completely sold out. After nearly 2 hours on the phone with Expedia, and an attempt to relocate my family to Taos b/c of lack of availability anywhere in Red River, we were relocated elsewhere in town. The only positive is that William who was working the front desk was extremely kind and tried his best to assist us as the Expedia relocation team being difficult to work with. Red River itself is fantastic and I would anticipate us going back at some point.

Amazing stay
Red river is an amazing place if you want to experience the mountains and wild life. We went on off season, so the town was very quiet. It can be busy in ski and summer season. The hotel was wonderful, despite the small stain on the cover. Other than that we will be back.

Don’t stay here had reservations paid with a credit card weeks in advance, night of arrival night clerk says needs a card on file, which is typical, then used it that night for his personal reasons charging over $200 to it, don’t stay you will literally be robbed by staff, calling they may office yields no help

We paid for this room a month before our trip. 2 days before we left, their corporate office called us to say they had overbooked and we didn’t have a room. We had to relocate to another place, which was not easy bc so many places were already booked up. We were going with friends, and the same thing happened to them. Bc we both had to relocate, we didn’t find any place that had enough empty rooms for both of us to stay at the same place.

It was a beautiful little condo. Nothing like we expected. Very comfortable (pillows were a bit soft for me, but my family loved them). The place is well stocked. Anything we forgot, they supplied. Overall, it was like being in a little bit of heaven. My only complaint was the cheap trash liners. Broke on me and we had a mess. The hot tub was out but not an issue for us. They did say, a new one would be in the works. I read somewhere that they had breakfast, a pool and fitness room, but none of that was true. We were told that none of that ever existed, so not sure where the confusion came from. Oh, and we did find out that things close early there. So plan ahead. But, we will def be back.

Wonderful stay
First time ski trip, everything at the condo was great and peaceful. Staff was friendly and informative. Great location, we walked everywhere and we’re no young pups (60,52). We will be back. Check out photo of view from our balcony.

We loved our stay, you can’t beat the value. Very clean and tidy, we had a 2 bedroom condo and will definitely be back! Hot tub wasn’t open but that’s not a big deal to us.

This is a very nice facility. The hot tub wasn't working but otherwise everything here very pleasant, great location. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, great location, very clean. We were there off season so hot tub was not working and gas fireplace did not work. We were told someone would come to fix it but never did. Other than that, it was very nice and comfortable!

I booked this property because of the gas log fireplace. It did not work, they tried to fix it but could not. Did not offer to move us to another room. It was disappointing.

Wonderful stay with some minor issues
This was a wonderful facility and the staff was helpful and knowlegeable. Overall it was absolutely great. But the bed was terribly soft and quote uncomfortable. Our unit was downstairs and there was no concrete subflooring, and the noose from upstairs was substantial. And we were disappointed that there is no recycling available and we had to take oir recycling materials with us when we dparted otjerwise it all had to go into lamdfill.

Super Comfortable Family Condo
We stayed for a weekend for a two couples getaway and the Family Condo worked out great. It's right along the river which was lovely and most often we walked to everything in town. We were soooo happy to have two bedrooms AND two bathrooms. Plus, there was another pull out bed which we didn't need to use. The kitchen and full sized fridge was helpful along with the dining area, living area and outdoor deck. We had plenty of options to sit around and hangout. We couldn't get the fireplace to work, but that wasn't a huge deal. The bathrooms were large and clean and we were also very glad to have the washer and dryer in the unit as well! We had brought our own laundry soap, but they do provide two soap packets also. The bedroom was a little on the tight side, and we could hear the other couple a bit through the vents, but minor details and all in all very happy with the stay.

Shoulder season in Red River
Nice location along the river. Plenty of room in our suite and on the deck. Very convenient. Can walk to almost anything in town. Off season is very quiet.

In the midst of a snowstorm
Wonderful pandemic get away with a facility that keeps a tight protocol of cleanliness and safety. The whole town follows a strict personal pandemic code which makes everyone feel safe and protected. As we arrived in the midst of a snowstorm, the evening and next day were absolutely glorious with fresh snow to snowshoe in and the welcoming small town to enjoy.

VRBO has out of date info for this property
The place was pretty great and the location to the Copper chair was prime, but the accuracy of the rest of this listing on VRBO needs a change. The photos should reflect the actual unit, not all of the units. They also provide scant details of what the unit has (you’ll probably want to bring your own cooking supplies, antibacterial soap, and bathing supplies). They list the checkout time at 11am, but apparently it’s 10am and that’s my fault for booking with a third party site (even though at the time of booking there wasn’t a reservation website for the actual units).

It had the best location to the slopes. There was a lift at the hotel. The main lift was only 1/2 mile away. You could ski right to the hotel. The city was wonderful. The family really enjoyed the trip. We will come back again.
