“Genomsnitt bra med tanke på våra behov (reste i grupp, 16 personer). Frukosten var tyvärr inte så mycket att berömma som på många andra brittiska hotell. Vi fick även betala för extra täcken, vilket vi inte hade räknat med. Nära till Kingfisher shoppingcenter som har en hel del bra butiker(bla Primark).”

Despite difficult circumstances David Borne and Amy on reception plus the rest of the staff were excellent and very friendly and knowledgeable about the area around Droitwich and Worcester.
One of the guests left a shower or bath running with water coming through the ceiling into the restaurant area at 7 pm ish but all the staff mucked in to sort it out and dry up. Even the ceiling tiles were replaced over night.”
“It was a very pleasant experience. I personally didn’t like that a bathtub was missing and that the breakfast was served only at 7:30. At 7 was possible to eat only pre-cooked things and before than nothing. Was tough because I had to wake up at 6 and go to work early. They could prepare some cold take-away things though and this was kind of a relief! ”

“The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5.
The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite.
The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. If you need to drive into the city centre from the hotel at peak times this will take about an hour.
