“The location is a perfect ten, but the staff was far from good. First of all, it took us 1.5 hours to check in, and we didn’t sense any effort to speed up the process. There was a complete lack of willingness from the staff to make our experience enjoyable. Our room was also dirty, which unfortunately aligned with the poor check-in experience. The Tan Hill has the potential to be amazing. It has everything going for it—except the staff, who failed to make our stay pleasant.”

“The Grassington Lodge is truly minimalist. A very small room, two bath towels, and one hand towel. For the third of three nights they added a bath mat and a bar of soap. The only staff ever present was the cleaning lady and her assistant. She was kind and helpful but certainly not enough to welcome and assist guests. ”

“The hotel is next to the A66, which is very convenient. We couldn’t have been more impressed or happy with this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. It’s also very dog friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend and we will return.”

“The hotel staff were lovely, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with a hot tub, as it was my partners 50th birthday. Also a lovely touch, a bottle of prosecco waiting in the room with a card. ”
