“The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“It's the people (for me) that make a place. Don't get me wrong, the location, and Caistor Hall itself are both great, but the service we received made this an exceptional experience. We felt right at home, it's posh but without airs & graces, perfect. Michelle was just lovely, so friendly and helpful, knew the property, it's history, and spoke very highly of the owners (important that the leadership of a place like Caistor Hall is right). “A calm but rather big hotel 6 km out of Norwich. Very helpful staff but with an accent you just can't understand as a foreigner. But no problem with that. Everything is at place and no need to have long conversations. :-) Nice full breakfast included and I had a beer and a goat cheese tartelette in the evening which tasted rather nice.”
