Wonderful
Really enjoy staying at their propertys. Very nice, cozy and comfortable. Great hosts and very nice neighborhood. Go here 3-4 times a year and have rented mostly with them rather than hotel stay. Very convenient very close to my children & family as well as town food and stores!

Nice place
Nice place with good location. Only complaint is I don’t feel the place was cleaned well prior to my check in. Beds in spare bedroom were not made. There were some stains on sheets of master. Some dirt in the floor of the kitchen. There was a coffee in the microwave and a jar of mayonnaise on the counter. Also would recommend the house purchase more kitchen things…. Pots pans knives large bowls. Was lacking that. Corner cabinet beside dish washer was also broken.

Thank you for the review. As I explained on the phone: I cleaned the house and forgot that I had used the microwave and forgot to take the coffee out. There are plenty of pots and pans you just didn't find them. The spare beds were just that for your stay since you registered only 1 guest. The stain is unexcusable and I'm sorry. Again thank you for the stay and be safe as you travel.

Worked perfect for me. I am disabled with mobility issues traveling alone.
No longer hallway to parking lot catting bag, Trilogy machine very convenient, very private and owner makes sure there are lights on when you get there, handicapped bathroom. All in all I was happy with place

Baseball Tournament

Rensselaer stay
Perfectly adequate and clean place to stay. I would stay again. But it is a very noisy location on a busy corner so be advised to bring ear plugs for sleeping! Also the patio does not look pretty like the photo - it's on the busy street, full of weeds and some litter blown in. Several repairs on the interior have not been made recently but the manager assured me that the handy man was ill and those things would be fixed.

I enjoyed our last stay better then thus stay. There was not a family size grill for the back patio like last time. I believe the cleaning lady was in a rush. The washer and dryer had sheets in it so I wasn't able to use them. The bathroom walls where pretty dusty. Even in the shower. And the silverware was all in a coffee cup in the kitchen cabinet, we didn't find it till after we had already purchased plastic

We stayed here for a baseball tournament. Loved it, plenty of space. Property manager was helpful and accommodating. If we are in Rensselaer again for a baseball tournament we will absolutely be staying here.

One of the best wedding anniversary getaway
First off my wife want to experience a small town atmosphere for our anniversary so we researched and when we saw the ad for this property we loved it. Once we got there everything was cleaned nice and homey feeling. We enjoyed ourselves with the private backyard sat out and enjoy the fresh night air. The night we went to a restaurant called Ember venue and once they found out we was celebrating our anniversary they made it a night to remember so the small town feeling was an excellent experience thanks to Greg and the residents of Rensselaer

Great weekend stay!
Had a great weekend. Very clean. Loved the privacy area. Loved the little touch of story about Nora. Garage fit my suburban. Living room is bigger then I expected. Very nice bathroom. More towels available then I expected! Wish it had a tub but made it work with my toddler! Water pressure in shower could be stronger. But not big deal.. master bed is very comfortable. Had great sleep. I liked that it's 5 minutes from the grocery store. I am pleased with everything! I will be happy to book again in the future.

The house was fine but we could tell it wasn't finished being cleaned when we arrived. Apparently the owner was unaware we were booked but was available to quickly give us the entry code. There were dirty towels, coffee pot hadn't been cleaned, sinks hadn't been cleaned, rugs were in the dryer, and dishwasher hadn't been run. Since the owner did not know we had been booked, then I think that could be overlooked. I'm not sure why VRBO didn't notify him because we had already paid but I won't pretend to know how VRBO works with its owners. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked appropriately for simple cooking. Has a nice patio. It is on a busy street but we weren't bothered in the master bedroom by the traffic. The shower is good, no complaints. The owner was nice and responsive.

Guest was absolutely right...the apartment was not ready and for that I sm completely embarrassed. I've been hosting for almost 2 1/2 years and have never left a situation like this guest had to live!

The unit has potential. The bathroom was very nice. Having a washer & dryer, and garage was great. The kitchen is not so good. The counter tops have cut marks ALL over them and they are discolored (stained), a great place for bacteria. One of the cupboard doors was loose and hanging slightly. The kitchen faucet was not secured to the sink. I had to hold onto it to turn it on. The pots and pans are old and stained. I was there from out of state so chose not to cook in the kitchen other than one morning but my friend brought a skillet to cook in. This property is located on a busy, noisy street. The morning traffic was terrible. I have never stayed in a VRBO so asked friends who have this experience for their opinion. They said it was over priced for the location and condition of the kitchen. Again it has potential but needs attention. There were bugs in the unit on the counter tops. It was concerning but not as concerning as the owner calling to say he was going to have the unit sprayed, while I was staying there. I said “no”, that if he wanted to spray I would have to leave. I am more afraid of poisons than I am insects. He did agree to reschedule for after my departure. Thank you

Surprised at the review. Surprised that you didn't mention that we had to send people to restore the tv late night that you messed up. And surprised that you mentioned the kitchen faucet especially that I told you there was no fear of the faucet causing you any trouble. Your friends that say it is overpriced are completely uniformed. Please have them send me comparable properties at the price you paid. And totally surprised that with all the phone calls I received from you while you were their the only concern you had was the kitchen faucet.

Convenient, Comfy & Clean!
Great alternative to a standard hotel and relatively close to downtown Rensselaer - in case you want to walk. Property was clean and comfortable for four adults. Take a minute to read the tribute to Nora in the living room too!
