“What a fabulous surprise after a long day’s drive. Ashley, the owner, greeted us with a huge welcoming smile. She had her staff assist with luggage without us asking. Two days before we arrived she called to make sure we had dinner reservations for the holiday weekend. A real class act. ”

“The host provided welcome treats for us and a toy for our dog. We felt very welcome. We had all the supplies we would ever need as well as robes for using the spa. The spa was warm and ready for us, no warm up time needed which normally can take many hours. Temperature controls worked great. ”

“The host was tremendous. The cottage was 60’s-style, well cared for, and cozy. The beds were comfortable. We were a short walk away from huge, calm, beautiful Hubbard Lake. The kitchen was well stocked and the stove, fridge, and microwave were in great shape and functioning properly. The WiFi and air condo worked great. We had the best time with our toddler walking up and down the beach hunting rocks, listening to the waves in the morning while drinking coffee on the porch, and walking the nearby nature trails. The cabin is the perfect place for a family to stay and have a fun, relaxing getaway in pure Michigan. ”
