“Nice place to stay. Beautiful views of the lake. Only downside was our room door that would not latch properly unless you really slammed the door shut. Even then it would not latch all the way. A security concern. Did not sleep well as a result. Definitely needs to be fixed.”

“The rooms only get cleaned if you ask at the front desk before noon. They won't even empty the trash. The breakfast was good since they provided eggs and meat and a waffle maker. Coffee and juice and fresh fruit. Breakfast from 7am till 10 or 11am. It's not helpful if you want to leave early. The hotel is older but updated.”

“The bed was comfortable. Good location for water trips. Parking available on site. Not used to a air conditioner by the bed- noisy. Definitely need a non slip mat in the shower. The shower floor was very slippery. The room was clean. Enjoyed the swivel chairs to read. Liked the table to play games. Suggest updating the overhead light that looked like it from the 1950,s with a overhead fan.”

“We enjoyed our stay but ran into a few bothersome things. We arrived over an hour after check in time & our room wasn’t ready. There was no apology, just a “give it another 10 minutes”. And when we inquired about the meeting place for a kayak tour we scheduled, front desk staff was rude. They explained the kayak tour was not connected to them even though the meeting place was at their property. They could’ve politely just pointed us in the right direction. They can deal with the kayak tour owner...

“Booked a king room and received 2 queens. When returned to the front desk about the mistake, was told they are sold out and there is nothing she could do. The bathroom reeked of mildew and the bathroom fan didn't work. I believe the hotel is used primarily for workers in the area...we had a person loudly jumping up and down for several hours the first night until 11:00pm then resumed jumping at 7:00am the next morning. The exercising continues the following evening, but did not go on for as...

“Very nice place to stay. Walking trail below the property was very nice, we were able to walk pretty much everywhere in town. Very nice and peaceful place to stay.”

“Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable!”

“Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area.”
