“My stay was excellent, just two things: one, the air conditioning made a noise like fan blades rubbing together, and two, I would have appreciated a complimentary bottle of water. But everything else was excellent and highly recommended. This will be the hotel I'll be visiting for the next four years, as my daughter has started university and I'll be in the area frequently.”

“The cabin was adorable. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding areas were perfect. We went there on our anniversary and really enjoyed the cozy cabin. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Easy to access a quick to respond. We’ll definitely come back.”

“The room I stayed in had a terrible odor the shower had hair in it when I got there. I stayed 2 nights and on the second day I asked for towels and the front desk clerk said she would send some up I asked twice never received any. Oh and there breakfast ends at 9:00 and most of the other hotels owned by the same people are open till 10 the only thing nice about the hotel was the pool was clean and it’s close to Claytor lake”

“This sweet house is cute, clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood is so peaceful with cows grazing in the pasture next door. You are close to town with a small, nice grocery store and easy access to I-77. Laura is a wonderful host and very responsive to any questions or issues you might have. I plan to stay here again when we are in the area.”

“Our trip was wonderful, but staying at CJ and Mitch’s beautiful property made it truly unforgettable. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, and the mountain views from the back porch are breathtaking. My dad especially loved spending time with their sweet dogs and donkeys—it became one of the highlights of our trip. “We stayed here for a VT graduation weekend. The property has a nice large dock and I’m sure would be great in the summer. The host was very prompt and helpful. Check in and check out were very easy. The family enjoyed the pool table. The master bathroom looked recently renovated and was very nice. The main surfaces in the house - counters, bathrooms, kitchen areas appeared clean on arrival. That said, the home could benefit from some updating and deeper-detail cleaning. The carpets are quite old...

“The stay was perfect from prior to arrival to departure. Communication was excellent. The pictures of the property didn’t do it justice. The lake view from the huge 2 level deck was breathtaking. Very comfortable and homey house. Check-in and out was a breeze! Will definitely be back!”
