“It is a nice hotel. The pool is big and lots of chairs. I had a room with access to the lounge and a nice view over the pagoda. The afternoon tea was nothing special but the evening snacks was good. You could easily have that as a simple dinner. I had one meal in the restaurang, the seafood buffet and got food poisoning. I´m sure it was the oysters otherwise it was a good buffet. “Access to the resort from Thailand is quite difficult. Clearing immigration on Thai and Myanmar sides were lengthy procedures. The crossing from Ranong to Kawthung requires 4 control checks before reaching destination. For old people getting in and out of longtail boats can be quite arduous. Asian guests with children are very noisy. They run in the hallways, slam the doors and speak loudly whatever the time of day and night. It seems parents have no control on their kids behaviour.
