“The staff really tried given what they had to deal with. I don’t blame them. The owners need to take serious stock of this place. Maybe it’s a money pit? The door looked like someone kicked it in and the numbers missing. I was told there would be coffee at 8am. No one was there. I waited for 1/2 an...

“This was one of our favourite stays while visiting Nova Scotia/Cape Breton. The hotel was kept very clean and cozy and we loved that there was a tea/coffee room at the end of every hallway on each floor. Our room was quaint and beautifully vintage and there was unique art hung across all the walls. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney. Loved that it was so centrally located as well! We were able to walk to and from the...

“We did not have high expectations, however it was very similiar to staying in student housing. We had to clean many dishes before we used them. It is a run down house. The queen beds were comfortable. Burn Mark on the sheets.!The shower was clean. Overall we were not comfortable in the environment and wanted to leave as quickly as possible.”

“The cabin met all our needs and then some. The bath and kitchen was well supplied. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the sunset. The owner must enjoy decorating…..very cute. A bit out of the way from stores and other services but Sydney an easy drive.”
