“Very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Room was good size. Shower was hot and good pressure. A few repairs needed here and there at the faculty but it was in good shape. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't a huge selection but it was sufficient. The hot tub and pool was very clean. ”

“The beds and towels, very clean, comfortable. Breakfast was just ok. I would have enjoyed coconut milk or almond milk for my coffee, and a few more healthy foods.”

“We love staying at the Garst House whenever we’re in town to visit family. We love the interesting history of the place, and all the old furnishing. Everything is old, and yet, spotlessly clean. It’s like staying at Grandma’s house.”

“Beautiful property - better than advertised! Our stay was peaceful and quiet, and we loved the owners' access to the hiking trail right though their backyard. The place was spotless, with great water pressure and comfortable bed, and the kitchenette had what we needed so we could stay there and make all our meals. The owners were friendly and very quick to help when we asked a question, but also very much gave us our privacy for our quiet weekend.”

“Great house, lovely quiet area. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck taking in the pretty view. Very quick response from host. Only complaint is that several of the beds were pretty hard and uncomfortable. ”

“When I first saw the hotel I was a little scared of what I saw but decided to check in and give it a chance I'm glad I did. It is a little quirky, the office is only open from 3-10, but the woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, though older. There were some chips in the tub but I didn't find anything wrong with that. My only real challenge was, I had problems adjusti g the air because I couldn't really read the buttons and the bed was high. The bed was very...
