“I was pleasantly surprised! I haven't stayed at a Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham before. I arrived close to midnight. The woman at the desk was so sweet and so helpful. It was nice to have great hospitality upon arrival after a long drive. The room was really neat. The vibe is fun and fresh but what I really appreciated was all the unique hooks and drawers and accommodations in the room. “Unfortunately the Fairfield Inn & Suites called 1 day before arrival to inform us that they had overbooked. A transfer was arranged to another hotel, the Best Western Plus Olean (a bit further than expected). The Best Western Plus turned out to be good, clean and with excellent service. However, to give credit to the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriot, they did their best to arrange a smooth transfer to the Best Western Plus despite the overbooking.”

“First, the few issues. Breakfast is only OJ, a few bagels, cream cheese, butter, dried cereal, bananas, and coffee. No yogurt, pastries, eggs, or much fruit. Such an easy thing to fix. The multiple threats around the pantry to not steal or video will be turned over to the police for prosecution is offensive to paying guests. There has to be a better way. “This was a nice and rustic trip away from the city into the peace and serenity of the country. Beautiful night sky with a fire pit and a porch allowed one to enjoy the sights and sounds. Cows, goats, miniature horses, chickens, geese, peacocks, dogs, and cats are some of the friendly animals on the property. Trailer was clean and bed was comfortable.”
