“It’s old and a little worn out but definitely ok for the price. All staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Lots of parking and restaurants near by. ”

“The water for the shower was Luke warm and water sprayed everywhere when you turned on the shower. Very little product in the vending machine. Water fountain didn't work and they didn't sell bottled water. Saturday afternoon/evening desk person was not available off and on, several people had to wait for his return. When you use the toaster and mi rotate at the same time, it blows the circuit braker and there is no note to let customers know A better breakfast selection would be nice.”

“Proximity to Bennigan’s restaurant was great so I didn’t have to venture out for dinner after arriving at the hotel. Breakfast was good but staff struggled a little to keep up with the number of guests. My only real complaint is that the bed was not comfortable as it seemed I could feel the springs.”

“Det är komiskt i europeiskt kontext när amerikanerna kallar det för ett historiskt hotell. Det var rätt nedgånget i korridorer och i rum. Vi fick byta rum pga oväsen. ”

“Everything was good”

“Front desk ladies were awesome and very patient!”

“There was long black hair all over the room. Shower walls bathroom floor, main room floor. Looked like the bedding wasn’t washed. Room smelled.”

“Overall if you need a bed and a place to stay, this was fine. We got a great rate and with needing two rooms for two nights, it made the most sense. They do have a continental breakfast but there was no variety in the two times I stayed (four nights total). Biscuits and gravy, but no bacon or sausage. Eggs were premade circles. Did have coffee, juice, bagels, toast and frosted flakes. Pool was small and the water chilly but typical of hotel pools these days. I enjoyed it on my first stay...

“Nice”

“Cynthia was a delightful host! We met equally delightful guests while gathered around the breakfast table. Comfortable bed and pillows. Location so close to great local dining and a coffee shop, the Sculptures on Parade, and The Music Man Square. The Decker House is beautiful!”

“Helt fantastiskt B & B på landet i Iowa. Lugnt, vackert och helt underbart värdpar! Ingen wi-fi men det gjorde ingenting, vi njöt av att sitta på verandan och lyssna på syrsorna. Otroligt kelsjuka katter hade dom också. Vi fick en ljuvlig frukost och satt länge och bara njöt av friden! Om vi någonsin kommer tillbaka till Iowa kommer vi självklart att boka detta igen men stanna flera dagar!”

“Don't stay here”

“Such a cute, clean, and quiet apartment, it was perfect for a quick stay overnight.”

“The cottage was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all the (non-perishable) things you need for cooking. The location was great and the large driveway was perfect for our boat trailer. The only thing to note is you have to walk through a bedroom (which we didn’t need) to get to the 2nd bathroom and back bedroom. Not a big deal for us but something to keep in mind. Everything was clean and Beau was very easy to communicate with.”

“We had booked multiple rooms only to find out there were no rooms for us. The hotel did not notify us in advance that the Travelocity booking was unable to be satisfied. Needless to say this is a huge problem if rooms cannot be confirmed and held when an active Travelocity itinerary appeared as though rooms were confirmed ”

“It was a really nice room and despite the thermostat not working, I was able to keep the room cool with the AC unit when I needed it on.”
