“We stayed at the Log hut for 1 night on 31st May. The room was pretty run down and the bathroom had a strange smell throughout our stay. We mainly stayed in Bandipur for the safaris and the 2 safaris we went on, we saw only elephants. No movement of tigers unfortunately. Ofcourse it’s all luck. The bf spread was ok. I would’ve typically given the room 2 stars but gave 1 extra star for the service provided. The staff were prompt if we asked anything. Service at restaurant was also really good. ”

“Gorgeous property with genuinely lovely staff. The on-site naturalist Chamu was particularly fantastic. I wanted to address two things that I believe could genuinely help the property improve. 1. Staff seems mainly hired from local community, which is lovely. We found everyone to have the absolute right attitude and approach to service. However, more training is required. “It is not worth the stay. Staff is courteous. Rs 500, govt safari ticket they charged us 2000+ with no addons( not even a bottle of water). We had to drive ourselves to to the safari pick up point and had to wait almost an hour to get a bus . We were under the impression that the safari is in exclusive vehicles since the charge was more than 4 times the govt charge. 20 mnts into the safari, we returned to pick up more tourist and there was not enough seats. “It was a delightful property. Deer come right up to your room's window and look in at you. Their dinner spread was good both in taste and in variety, and this is amazing considering it was a jungle resort and so far from any city. We were eight adults and a toddler, and all of us had a lot of fun. The hotel booked us for a dawn safari; and we also used the pool, the game room, and the children's trampoline.”
