“Booker beware! All the photos show on Expedia are the upgraded newer cabins, if you do not specially request it (even though all the photos are the same) you will get bait and switched. We showed up and they gave us what looked like a $10 a night shelter. The doors wouldn't even fully open - nothing close to what you see when you book. I didn't even make it past the bathroom before I went back to the main desk and asked what was going on. They said "you booked a two room" but they are all...

“Our stay was very nice. We were just passing through, but plan to come back this winter. The breakfast was wonderful. Tasted homemade.”

“Not clean or maintained. Smelled like stale old food all through out the hotel. The bathroom was very dirty and unkept, there was duct tape holding on the light switch plate. Should note that the hotel only has the "kids" pool open during the summer even though its indoors. The only good thing is location. Would never stay here again.”

“I've stayed at Clearwater several times. In Mackinaw City it is located around the bend away from big crowds. It's quiet, extremely clean, on the beach with smores at nite, each balcony faces the Mackinaw Bridge for a beautiful lite nite view. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. For a quiet night to relax and enjoy the area, it's perfect.”

“Clean”

“Nice area, not clean, problem with tv”

“The pool area is spacious and clean. Grounds are attractive. Patio, balconies, deck chairs and fire pit have views of beautiful lawn, woods and waterway. I personally would have appreciated more protein options at breakfast. There was yogurt. There were no meats or eggs offered. Cereals, and carb offerings were extensive. Staff was responsive and top notch.”

“Overall, a good place for a good price. Waterpark was great. Very convenient as it is across from the ferry. Furniture is old but bed and bathroom were clean.”

“Pleasant stay. Thank you.”

“Bra hotell, nära allt!”

“would go again but reminder you get water park passes for down the road which i wish i would have known sooner so i was able to use”

“Nicely located and good accommodations! Beds were very comfortable. Rooms could stand for a little updating, but for the price it was perfect! *no hand soap in the dispenser and one light bulb over mirror was out.”

“Me and my son stay here every year on our way to Canada. Great place and close to downtown Mackinaw.”
