“Vi hade bokat det näst finaste rummet, men det var som ett vanligt dubbelrum... Så vi blev besvikna och speciellt när vi vaknade tidigt på morgonen ut av trafiken från huvudleden som gick utanför. Utöver detta var servicen av kvällspersonalen perfekt och vi kunde inte känt oss mer nöjda efter kvällens besök i restaurangen! Vi besökte även den närliggande spa-anläggningen, men det var inte heller något att hänga i granen - överpris för en minimal pool, fotbad som inte fungerade och tre bastu...

“Wow, what a nice place. The staff and the restaurant were great. The place is old, has high ceilings and single glass windows. Here comes the problem. It was freezing cold. The room got ok after a while but the bathroom was just freezing cold. They should think about a solution to better insulate the windows.”

“One night stay, room(plum porter) much bigger than photos , clean comfy and in keeping with the building. Staff very friendly, beer spot on food good. We didn't want breakfast as we were going for lunch, just. Suited us. Lovely little village, church peaceful, sound of the bells chiming, like going back in time. Nothing we didn't like, beautiful hanging baskets, beer terrace, a very popular, dog friendly pub, thanks.”

“Despite the large rooms, the hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The beds are overdue to be replaced. Lots of piling on them and they didn’t have a fitted sheet. You could feel the bumps of the older mattress through the sheet that was on top of the bed. The sheet on top of the bed didn’t cover the entire mattress. It would roll up and expose the mattress in the night. I had to constantly get out of bed and pull it back over the bare worn mattress. Very poor lighting in the room and...

“Firstly, the staff were lovely. I was travelling with my disabled mum and noted when booking we would need a ground floor room. We booked a "suite" with a bed for two and a bed for one so that we would have enough space to manoeuvre. Unfortunately we hadn't been given a room on the ground floor but this was quickly rectified. The room was clean and tidy. The mattresses were extremely hard. There were disability modifications for the toilet which worked well, but there wasn't anything for the...
