“We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants. There was more than enough room for the 4 of us...

Dank der dicken Natursteinmauern ist es im Haus auch bei 30°C Außentemperatur angenehm kühl. Die Küche lädt zum Kochen ein. Beste Zutaten gibt es im ca. 5 km entfernten Aunac sur Charente bei einem kleinem Lebensmittelgeschäft mit sehr freundlichen Inhabern, einem lokalen Fleischer gleich nebenan, sowie in einer kleinen feinen Bäckerei. “The hosts are a very welcoming couple. Always nearby to help if you needed anything. So helpful and friendly from the minute we arrived. Clean accommodation with modern renovation and appliances (the accommodation is a gite beside main house).Lovely pool and bar area as well as attached woodland to explore. “La propriété est constituée de plusieurs gites situés côte-à-côte comme décrit sur l’annonce. Pour un usage en commun, il nous a suffi de mutualiser les différents équipements (cuisine, …) sans problème pour prendre nos repas ensemble (en deux tables voisines). Les propriétaires habitant sur place sont disponibles si nécessaire, mais restent discrets. La propriété est dans un parc spacieux, agréablement aménagé et calme (on n’entend pas la route).
