“We checked in after supper but the lady at the check-in gave us plates and cutlery to eat our meal that we bought elsewhere. The handrail to our floor was quite dirty. Nothing the soap and water wouldn’t fix. Our bed squeaked with every move. To plug in the coffee maker we had to move a heavy dresser and there were 5 things already plugged in. Yikes! We couldn’t watch tv because the coaxial cable wasn’t attached. Breakfast was nice. Had to heat scrambled eggs and sausage in the microwave...

“We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage. It was even prettier than the pictures. Advocate Harbour is a beautiful and interesting little town and the drive from Parrsboro tp Advpcate Harbour, while a bit more rugged than we anticipated, is stunningly beautiful with unbelievable scenery. There are lots of parks nearby and lots of interesting beaches. The cottage itself is very comfortable and clean with everything you need to cookyour own meals. I was grateful that there was a cozy dining room...

“Deck needs to be replaced, very dangerous for older people. The check in was bizarre, met with owner's sister who in great detail explained what should be explained a manual. When you arrive at your vacation location the last thing you want to do is spend 20 minutes going over these things. The location was fabulous but the site is quite musty smelling, furniture and deck should be replaced before it is available for rent again.”
