“Friendly and professional check-in & check-out. Room cleanliness could be improved (furnishings dusty). Afternoon tea service was a bit rough around the corners: subpar customer interaction skills and knowledge of menu offerings. The variety and quality of breakfast offerings at Café du Parc were more suited for a diner than a 5-star hotel. This legendary facility seems to be struggling at living up to some aspects of its former grandeur. Nevertheless, our stay was pleasant overall.”

“Et underbart hotel mycket bra placeret vad enten man är där för semester eller affärer. Det är et historiskt hotel vilket är mycket charmigt tyvärr också med vissa utmaningar. Der är 4 trappsteg från receptionen upp till hissen till rummen. Här finns det en rullstolslift som tyvärr bara fungerade få gånger medan vi var där. Jätte tråkigt da det gjorde det lite besvärligt för oss. Vi reste 3 och har en i sällskapet som sitter i rullstol. Hon är liten och nät så det går at lyfta, men det hade...

“Bad stay and try to charge you more. They charge you 35 USD in ”Hotel fee” once checking out. Apart from that, rooms are not very nice. Would never go back. You pay premium but get very little. I had to tell the cashier to correct my bill from 880 USD they suggested down to 440 USD and they were ”sorry for that”. I still had to pay the ”hotel fee” for every single night (!)”

“Overall, the hotel is quite nice from the lobby to the restaurant. The check in was quick. It’s in a great neighborhood. The main challenge is housekeeping. We stayed 2 nights and our room was not cleaned after the first night (we were gone from 9AM to 10PM). I told the front desk the next morning and he made a note to have our room cleaned. It was then cleaned, but we ended up with 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel for a double room. Housekeeping needs to be improved. You also pay an amenity fee,...

“The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful! Solo traveler to a new city with lots of questions and the staff had all the answers and suggestions. The location is great with many sites in walkable distance. The valet parking personnel were courteous, as well. The bed, sheets, all of it was divine. ”

“We travelled as a couple for three nights. Having read the reviews about the noisy top bar, we were a bit apprehensive, but it turned out the hotel had taken critics seriously, bc it was dead silent. Slight noise from the hall, but nothing disturbing (room 617). The breakfast was super expensive, so we only had it for a day. But on the whole, this was a really good hotel. Bonus; we got a ride for free by the hotel vallet to the train station! Very appreciated! ”

"Bra läge, en kvarts promenad från Vita Huset. Hotellet hade stora rum med bra utrustning, i mitt fall med ett pentry. Negativt var ett väldigt bullrigt kylskåp. "

"Mycket serviceminded personal överallt. Riktigt bra rum och badrum, väldigt skön säng, sänglinne och handdukar. Klanderfri städning. Trevlig bar. Saknar miljötänk kring handduksbyten vilket drar ner betyget på det. 10 minuters promenad till närmaste tunnelbanestation. Man befinner sig i en storstad och trafiken hörs väl i rummen mot Thomas circle. Det störde inte oss men ifall man är känslig för sådant är det nog bättre att be om ett rum åt andra hållet. "

Nice location

"The hotel is close to a trainstation which was convienient arriving from Dulles airport. Within walking distance from The national mall with all the sights and also close to the Warf with plenty of nice bars and restaurants. The room was very small but as you got used to it it works. The bed is supercomfortable but as you only get in from one side you have to think about who is more likely to need to get out of bed first ...Breakfast was really nice, really good coffeservice, the only thing I missed was fresh pancakes/waffles. Lobbyarea has a cool livingroom vibe and the bar serves up some good drinks and barfood. Eveything in the room is controlled by an ipad, it works and you get used to it qiuckly. A good hotel close to the main monuments and museums. Train station close by and easy to get to airport or unionsation. "

Perfekt läge för att se Washington

"Vi var två vuxna och två tonåringar som bodde i ett executive-rum. Det var välplanerat och välstädat. Bäst var dock det utmärkta läget med bara ett stenkast till Vita huset och alla andra sevärdheter. "
