“Visiting Chena Hot Springs Resort is a truly unique Alaskan experience, located about a 1.5-hour drive from Fairbanks. While it offers memorable family-friendly activities, careful planning is required—especially regarding transportation and supplies. Highlights & Family Activities Aurora Ice Museum: A fantastic, one-of-a-kind family activity. Exploring the stunning ice sculptures is a must-do while you are here. Natural Hot Springs: A wonderfully relaxing experience for adults (note that the...

“Setting aside the fact that we were thrilled and lucky to enjoy a spectacular northern lights show during our stay, Borealis Basecamp was a wonderful brief getaway experience. The facility has provided just enough extra activities (not a price bargain by any means, but probably comparable to similar venues) to keep you physically engaged during daylight hours. However, for those who have mobility issues, particularly back injuries, you'll need to make yourself cozy in the reception or...

“Close to airport, awesome shuttle service. Friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast was okay; weekday was better. Much of the food was not stocked and breakfast area could have been better maintained. Property is needing some refreshing. But rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.”

“This stay was a surprise. It is off the beaten path nestled in the woods with neighboring homes with spacious lots. It is a modern building that looks like a modern home. It has gravel driveway. It has a self check in with a text to office/ staff for help if needed. They are responsive. Building is clean and provides slippers for the use inside. The room is clean, has desk, reading chair and a spectacular viewing window that proved to be very useful for catching the northern loghts. The kitchen...

“Slarvigt städat rum. Bodde fyra dagar utan att det städades. Galet dyr frukost. Oengagerad personal. Annars kanske ok. Kanske.”

“Large rooms. Clean. Friendly staff. Good location by the river and park. Good walkways. Courtesey transfer to the railroad. ”

“Everything is great.”

“This hotel is warmly welcomed to other guests. The hotel was very good, clean, as good as home, well kept every day, everything was perfect, the internet was good, yes what else to say, you drink a lot of coffee, they have better coffee in the lobby :-) it tastes better than what you get in the rooms :-) By the way, everything was just perfect. Yes, please come back next time, it will be back soon. Right now I'm in Seattle, after that, it's flying to New York, then I fly home to Sweden again. so...

“Had a great stay wonderful heat in the fall months in your rooms great almost instant hot water, the staff was amazing and very helpful with suggestions for our three week stay and the northern lights are easily visible late night through early morning at the hotel rear fenced area and it’s about 12minutes from many dark sky location for viewing many of the tourist attractions were closed at the time we stayed but we never ran out of places to go and things to do within a days drive for three...

“All the hotel staff were kind and friendly. I had some questions about the amenities in the hotel room, so I went to the front desk a few times to ask, and everyone explained everything to me very politely. When I told them I didn't know how to turn on the hot water in the bathtub, a maintenance technician came up to my room to show me how, and since part of the bathroom fixture was broken, he fixed it right then and there. The room had a kitchen (with a microwave, fridge-freezer, stovetop,...
