“Coffee was poor quality and only French vanilla creamer available. Mattresses in room 108 were very saggy and uncomfortable. Hotel was very clean, bright, and staff were welcoming and helpful. I will stay there again but check mattresses first and bring my own coffee. Bathroom was nice and clean with good water pressure and nice towels.”

“We stayed one night when we were going to Wind Cave National Park. It is an older, refurbished motel that is maintained very well. The host was very friendly, and the continental breakfast had quite a variety compared to other “continental breakfasts” I’ve had. If you need just a night or two in this part of the Black Hills, I would recommend this place.”

“Staff unbelievable. Never passed one when they didn't ask how was your stay or if you needed anything. Breakfast buffet was out of a lot of things....milk, yogurt, pancake maker was broken, and coffee beans had run out.”

“I loved the location of this historic building. I was there for an extended stay and felt so comfortable here. The room, although smaller, was perfect for my stay. Very comfortable bedding and always enough hot water. A movie theater, a dozen eating establishments, and many cute shops all within a 5 minute walk. The staff was very helpful and friendly. ”

“Room was in horrible condition, bed felt like you were laying on a board. Bedding smelt stale and like mildew. We left and didn’t even stay, could not stay in the smell. The flooring was also damaged in several places causing a trip hazard for someone in a walker like me. ”

“This was the perfect getaway for our girl's weekend! We loved waking up to the beautiful view, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. There were lots of bugs, but that's to be expected this time of year when they're looking to hunker down for winter! We loved our stay and are looking forward to another visit!”

“The property was gorgeous every view was amazing. Ryan and Sandy were incredible hope we get to come back and see them. Rocky and Axle were the best dogs ever kept my kids safe, happy and gave plenty of love. Can't say enough about this place if you have the chance take it ”
