“Great location, very close to DC, 1h30min and you already feel you are on a long weekend vacation. We did the Sunday brunch and we were amazed by the quantity o food we got for the price. Service was great and we enjoyed the food. After that, we checked in for our room, very spacious with a fire place and a large TV. It was raining so we went to the indoor pool, not warm enough for us but good size. Overall, it is a great location, we will definitely go back!”

“Bra övernattning. Synd att inte frukost ingick. ”

“We rented the Middleburg Cottage. Perfect set up for us. Nice living room, dining room, kitchen, and two bedrooms. Great breakfast delivered to our door. The only downside is we were there on a Sunday night. The Tavern and restaurant are closed on Sundays. Leaving us scrambling to make dinner plans. Otherwise, it was the perfect 24-hour stay.”

“I am not sure what amenities this hotel had, it was hard to see past the basics it was supposed have - and lacked - like simple cleanliness. I picked it as a quick stop on a road trip and because they allowed dogs so expectations were low. However, when we arrived there was an extra pet fee, which was confusing since the hotel already smelled like dog pee. What more damage could a twenty pound pure bred whipped possibly cause? The pillars around the pool were rotting and crumbling, the carpets...

“Clean”

“Very cheap hotel. Close to Main Street and we rate this hotel higher. Breakfast had no coffee even though the one responsible noticed, but did nothing to make more coffee. You get what you pay for. ”

“One of the most expensive, and by far the ugliest rooms I’ve ever stayed in Virginia - and staff at both the front desk and Harry’s restaurant were just plain rude. Had asked for a room with a view for my birthday, but was given lower level room with broken blinds, cement wall and overgrown bush to look at for a “view.” Front desk guy said, “Oh you’re and EXP room.” ??? The room had mold in bathroom tiles, cheap bed, ripped mattress cover, too small sheets, broken/leaky refrigerator, fake “wood”...

“Cosmetically, this hotel is very tired.”

“Cleaned, maintained hotel near many conveniences.”

“We were first given a room that smelled smokey when it was supposed to be non-smoking. Staff very quickly gave us a new one. They are renovating so the room was a combination of things. It wasn’t great but it was clean and we were only there for one night, and left early.”

“Beautiful property”

“Ett stort minus med rummet var att det inte fanns någon fungerande luftkonditionering, men det var rent med fungerande tv, kylskåp, micro och kaffebryggare. Trevlig personal, bra frukost och en ren fin pool att svalka sig i.”

“It is very close to the national park north entrance.”

“Ganska slitet motell men väldigt rent med bekväma sängar. Mycket bra Internet. Trevligt och hjälpsamt värdpar. Praktiskt med kaffe-/vattenbryggare, kylskåp och mikrovågsugn. Saknade ett riktigt skrivbord att jobba vid.”

“Place was dirty but did the job for few nights and close to shenendoah np”

“No Wi-Fi, TV didn’t work, walls as thin as paper, no soap in the bathroom, difficult check-in, seems like a section 8 type of place. And that’s fine, but if you’re a tourist, that might not really fly with you. It wasn’t super great for us. The guy in the next room might as well have been at the foot of our bed. The best thing I can say for it is that there was plenty of hot water.”

“Great little hideout! We loved this little place, accurately described and the communication was superb!”
