“I wasn’t impressed with the hotel. I had forgot my swim suit and the spa ladies were atrocious and very fake. The restaurant didn’t have enough meals for customers and poor service by the waitresses! The room was a twin bed when we were a couple. No music or entertainment all in all.. better to find a Holi park or glamping site”

“As a couple you should avoid Fridays and Saturdays. The noice level in the restaurant was more then average as there was many male golfers in the room. Loud and no respect for others. Nice staff, Big gym and pool but over crowded. Unfortunately the golf course was in worst condition with brown fairways and green looking like they did a paintover with green colour. Staying Sunday to Monday was much calmer and enjoyable. ”

“One of nicest bunch of staff have met at a hotel. Very hardworking, diligent and actually care about their guests. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool and gym were excellent. Only issue was on checkin as it took a very long time as a couple guests were having payment and suite issues. Parking is close by, food in restaurant was perfect and breakfast had a lot of choices. This hotel takes good allergies super serious and lots of dairy gluten free options available- we were sad to...

“Enjoyed our stay, we were on the top floor, but no lifts. Anyone with mobility issues might struggle. There is a stair lift to first floor that needs hotel staff in attendance. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and facilities fine, We elected to have "no clean" service, (the hotel's policy for saving water) but we did expect the inside of the windows to have been cleaned, the views were obscured because of this. “Wonderful house in nice surroundings with a large fenced field right next door. Friendly staff, good food and nice breakfast options. Slightly disappointing that our selected and paid for room was not bookable with our dog and we got allocated a smaller cottage room instead even though the hotel is listed as pet friendly. Classic decorations and overall well maintained. However, would not have expected plastic flowers in the conservatory.”

“The Sloop Inn is in a convenient location to explore the area. The bedroom was small and had too much furniture; the two chairs took up all the space left in the room to move around, open a suitcase. The only power sockets were behind the bed. In order to plug in my phone and other chargers, I had to pull the bed away from the wall about 15cm in a room that was already too small. The bathroom sink light did not work. The staff were great.”
