“This hotel was under a major renovation. I think once that is done it will be an awesome place to stay. Hard to really rate fairly right now. Once renovations are complete I would stay there again. Parking was a odd set up but was free.”

“The staff was very nice! Our room was what we paid for. A lot of dead gnats throughout and the floors and toilet were dirty. There was a strong smell of cleaner the entire time we were there. We also couldn’t get extra pillows. The iron was in the office and we had to go get it. Otherwise it was fine! Pet friendly for a charge so that helped us. Not a ton of grass space to walk a dog around.”

“Bathroom toilet did not work properly, towels rough,TV did not work front desk clerk did not know how to tell us how to set.”

“Fast clean service”

“We stayed at other hotels without a staff before, and this one works smoothly. Lovely, big sweets with comfortable beds, great rooms for relaxing, and a well appointed kitchenette There are no amenities but a fun Speakeasy. Located right downtown with lots of walkable shops and restaurants,”

“The owner is great to communicate with. It was quiet and convenient spot to stay.”

“room smelled bad and the AC did not work.”

“This little cottage is perfect for couples who want to float, fish, and/or just stay on Elkhorn Creek. It has everything you need! If you kayak or canoe, there isn’t a better place to stay. This was our 2nd summer in a row staying there. 1st full day, we left a vehicle about 4-5 miles up river from the cottage and caught a shuttle to American Whitewater Access. We floated about 5 miles to the cottage where we stopped for lunch and then floated the remaining 4-5 miles to our vehicle. The next...

“The kitchen is small but effective. Would recommend a couple of dishcloths for those who like to cook. The area was close to town and easy access to the highway. We stayed five nights and it was cozy for two people. It was a nice quiet area. It was clean and had the essential needs, even toothbrushes if people forgot theirs.”

“The place was gorgeous, beautifully set up and easy to get to. We were disappointed that we were unable to enjoy the outdoors due to the level of humidity. We recommend this place and we hope to stay here again for our future visits.”

“interior was very nice, toiletries etc were exceptional! driving up and seeing the property, I was about ready to turn around and go back, it was pathetic. took a few minutes to locate the driveway, and parking was very tight. but knowing what to expect next time, I would return”
