“We stayed at Perched in the Trees to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Such a lovely retreat that feels so far away and secluded, but is close to great food and attractions. We were especially impressed with our takeout dinner (the crab cakes were delicious!) from Jimmy Joy’s, which we enjoyed eating on the screened porch. “The term "hotel" is a little misleading as it is more like an inn where there is no hotel staff onsite. An innkeeper greeted us to check us in and give us a tour of the property. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also visited the onsite restaurant, which was lovely. The food was excellent! Unfortunately, there were no real options for breakfast in town and no shopping or entertainment. If you stay here, be prepared for a quiet night in.”

“We had a wonderful stay in Big Cove Tannery! The accommodation's were exceptional. Everything we needed was there. We loved the creek, the fire pit, playing cornhole, hot tub, and more. We kayaked, rode bikes, and went to wineries on the days the heatwave hit. We loved it here and hope to return. ”
