“John Day sits about 80 miles from the nearest city of any size. It has limited overnight choices. The Best Western, while nice, costs the same as the Best Western at Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris. This is John Day, folks. Dreamers Lodge, while not the newest or fanciest motel, is very nice, clean, safe, easily located, walking distance to restaurants AND reasonably priced. This is our choice every time. ”

“This is a beautiful home, on property. Conveniently located to John Day and Canyonville, yet just the right distance from them to be extremely peaceful! No sirens or horns. The home is large, great kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Large front and back decks to enjoy the outdoors. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, I was sad to leave. I was surrounded by deer and the beautiful scenery. The view from the front porch is spectacular and the starry night skies are huge. Beautiful home...
