“We had an amazing stay at the Secret Courtyard Hotel. A lovely neighbourhood with friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious and the hotel had a calm atmosphere. Walking distance to the reed flute cave, and easy to take a taxi to city center. I can't recommend it enough. ”

“Jag och en vän åkte till Yangshuo i början av december. Vi var där 4 dagar och gjorde verkligen allt vi kunde/ville under vår resa och det var tack vare hotellet. Servicen gjorde att vi kunde bli servade och ta oss vart vi ville, om vi ville ha en bil till nästa dag var det inga problem att fixa. “You will stay in the middle of the city center, in the same building as McDonalds. Cannot get more confident location. The hotel offer much value for the price level. In addition the hotel also offers a generous breakfast buffet. The hotel’s interior is modern and cozy, but as the price can tell it is a budget hotel so cannot expect a 5 star standard. “The area around the property did not look good, but the property itself was very clean and nice. The staff were great and the food was even better. I did not like that they didn’t specify in their cite that their pool are is not finished and that construction is still ongoing.”

“The customer service was absolutely outstanding. They front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Siao Chou (小周) and Ting Ting (亭亭). They went out of their way to provide us with specific information about local tourist destinations and how to navigate the city. Our Guilin visit went well because of them. The only issue we had was the hotel only had one washer and dryer. They were mostly occupied during early morning and night. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently located between the Li river and the Sickle Bay. To the west, the pier is only a mile away, and the motor raft is easy to book to enjoy the magnificent waves rock scenery. To the east, the Sickle Bay, a world natural heritage site, is great for hiking to have the breathtaking overlooking on top. The hotel has the scenery nicely blended in. “This is a small and very nice old hotel with a five star service. It's located on the outskirts of Yangsho but close to the river and caves. Ideal for mountainbikes with 5-25km hikes, including bamborafting. Could be hard to find for a taxidriver in Guilin so book a transfer in advance. Tina and the other staff will help you out and their english is good.”
