“Good stay overall. Not exactly a 5 star experience but still one of the nicer hotels in the area. Reception is messy, coffee was not included in the breakfast, flimsy toilets (bidet that is not intuitive), very hot in the breakfast area during our stay (AC was not on). However, the room was spacious, comfortable and with a nice view.”

“Centrally located. Four floors total. We got a nice view of the water facing the lake. Staff was extremely helpful and they go out of their way to help. Tip: get WeChat App and add the hotel contact and communicate with the language of your choice (ours: English). Breakfast was good but they don’t know how to make omelets which was disappointing! All in all great experience. Hotel manager: ask your chef to learn to make omelets.”

“The view from the room looking at the mountains facing west (beautiful sunset view) was astonishing. The staff was kind, polite and very friendly. Ms. Linzi, Mr. Zhu and other staff members went out of the way to delight the customers. If you are planning a trip to Yangsou, plan 2-3 days and be with nature to decompress and relax. Don’t miss the dining at Magpie Restaurant (Yulong River Branch) 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here recommended by the hotel staff.”

“Free bicycles was good as you can go downtown in 10 mins or just visit the villages around the river, there is an excellent restaurant just 3 mins away along the river. The part of town near the hotel is nicer than the touristy west street. There is a construction about 300 m opposite to the hotel which affects the view negatively and a lot of trucks pass by the hotel at the moment but I guess after 2-3 month it will be a better situation. “Our stay was perfect, the staff were so helpful and kind. The view from our room was once-in-a-lifetime. The afternoon tea and cakes were delicious and not too sweet. We would recommend staying here any time you’re in Yangshuo!! The pool was really warm in late October. Logistically, the hotel makes you feel like you’re at home. Laundry machines are available.
