“Great accommodations! The staff was incredible and could not have been better with their guests! The site was clean and just an enjoyable environment! We would definitely refer others to this property!”

“Unfortunately, it is very dark where the motel is. Pulling in, we were very uncomfortable. Had we been able to get a refund, we would have left. However, the owner put us at ease and told us we were safe. She is very careful handling ice, and we were grateful for that. We did sleep well. Not much for breakfast so got a cup of coffee and left in the morning.”

“Amazing stay!”

“Beautiful view”

“This cabin is a 1940s cabin and that's what it is. Don't expect luxury. Dogs and kids will love it -- bunk beds, a loft bed and a not-heavily-traveled road to walk dogs. The wall of west-facing windows gives a beautiful view across the Mississippi River for stunning sunsets. There's a small beach where you can sit. But beware -- GPS has NO idea where the cabin is. After being lost twice, I went to the app to message the host and realized there were driving instructions. But those weren't sent...

“My husband & I stayed a few nights at the cabin for our anniversary. The place is beautiful & oh so comfy. There were a few bugs indoors, but with the cabin being so far out in the country it's pretty expected. Communication with our host was super easy & quick. I needed a question answered & messaged the her. She responded within minutes. I would definitely stay again.”

“Great place to stay! Private and quiet.”

“It was a great property! Convenient location and easy check in for a short stay. The air conditioning was amazing!!!!”

“Historic Nauvoo. What a neat little town. Everyone was extremely friendly. The property is good value for the money. If you park on the Main Street, it’s easy to find. The alleyway from the front is level concrete and well lit. We parked in back as we were instructed. It was a little confusing at first, until I reread the instructions. The concrete alleyway from the back is uneven and not as well lit. But the town is a safe one, so security is already felt. The stairs to the upper apts...

“I loved this little space. It was an old Lil cottage that gave me peace and comfort. We were up there for a funeral. But the cottage made us not want to leave for the real world. my two sons one and adult and one a teen also loved it! The host was very helpful! I will be back...well maybe for vacation next time!”

“The location is excellent.”

“Located on a nice quiet road by the river. Fireflies were out in June. May need bug spray, so we’re the mosquitos. It’s a great place with some nice grass and personal space. That’s what we like about this place. Thanks so much.”

“What a beautiful place to stay!!! We loved everything about it! If you’re wanting the authentic pioneer experience this is the place to stay. ”

“To be very honest the property is not what I expected from the listing. However, after getting settled in and the excellent communication with the host, the 6-week stay was very pleasant. The host was wonderful and checked on us on a regular basis. Host was very quick to fix any issues and was also very quick in all responses. They made us feel welcome. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to someone who is looking for a reasonably priced home to...

“Very good location, sofa bed mattress was uncomfortable, there are stairs to the bathroom.”
