“There are beautiful places in the world — and then there is Kwessi Dunes. Set against the vast, awe-inspiring landscape near Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, this lodge is something truly special. Being greeted by zebras when we arrived felt like stepping into a dream. The property itself is stunning, but it’s the people who make it unforgettable. The staff are extraordinary. And Papa G, our guide, brought every experience to life with his depth of knowledge and genuine love for Namibia. Quad biking...

“The property was absolutely beautiful, well run and staff were great, the rooms are stunning. My issue wasn’t with the property but with the map on Expedia, it implies the property is very near the entrance to the park and the dot was not in the right place, it was a very long and dust road! So we were a little disappointed on the way there but we were happy when we eventually got there. If I’d known where it was when I booked this wouldn’t have bothered us”

“Loved our 2 night stay in the Dune 2 chalet! Room was well appointed with an excellent view of a waterhole and the Khalahari desert - saw wildlife out the window everyday. Enjoyed the Night and Combo Game Drives with our outstanding guide, Gabriel - very knowledgeable and engaging with guests. Saw rhinos, giraffe, kudu, Hartebeest, eland, springbok, steenbok, maribou stork, oryx, zebra, and more. Outdoor dining area is set up as a Boma and nicely lit - dinners were very good!”

“This was my first accomodation on my namibia trip and it was an amazing start. I thought the tents would just be simple, but it was great. It's a large tent with a full and real comfortable bed, some small furniture, a fan and a warm shower. The tents are slightly elevated and placed so that everyone has a private and amazing view of the landscape. The main lodge looks gorgeous as well.”

“Positive: It’s a great place, great staff and it’s great place to stay before visiting Susvelei.they offer many tours and can help you with an itinerary and transportation as a package. Negative: the wifi didn’t work. Not sure if this is an on going issue or just when we were there. The pool water is extremely cold in the winter. I wish they had a way to warm the water or turn it into a Jacuzzi. I wish dinner included more traditional Namibian food options to try instead of mainly western food.”

“Very unique stay and what a wonderful team at Outpost. Easily one of our top stops in Namibia.”
