“The bed was hard, the pillows were flat and terrible, the black out curtains were too short and had holes in them. The hot tub was not open to use, the ice machine was broken, I was woken up repeatedly by trucks hitting their Jake brakes all night. Breakfast was cold gravy and biscuits in a crock pot and cereal.”

“The staff was friendly and helpful. The motel appears to be partially renovated. My room on the second floor was not. The breakfast was excellent with many choices.”

“When you walk in you are greeted with a musty, animal urine odor. The place is in a convenient location. The ac is pretty bad. It’s either super cold or muggy, no in between. The rooms had a stuffy feeling and you can smell animal urine undertones throughout. You can also hear dogs barking and everyone who walked by your room.”

“Days inn in Newton was a great inexpensive option when we stayed there for two nights. We had a car and no problems getting around, but it would be complicated without one. The rooms were clean but the hotel was a little worn down. The breakfast was not too exciting, but there was free coffee in the reception all day. Ok stay, but nothing special.”

“The property was adequate for a short stay. Parking was easy, and our room was clean and quiet. At the same time, hallways were dirty and the building exterior unattractive. The surrounding area is convenient to the interstate and has a couple of truck stops but few restaurants.”

“This is the worst possible Hotel to stay at. Everything was worn out. Bed bugs in the bed. The place was all torn up and. Hard to get help if needed.”

“Quiet with several activities. Very reasonable cost.”

“So unique and fun!! Peaceful, comfy bed and pillows!! Beautiful and great hosts!”

“We booked a two-night stay but chose to leave after the first night because of the overall condition of the property.Upon arrival, the home had a noticeable mildew odor and appeared inadequately cleaned. The refrigerator contained a dead mosquito, crumbs, and debris. Kitchen counters and other surfaces were dirty, and dust was visible throughout the home.We found numerous maintenance issues, including a barstool held together with zip ties, a torn couch, a broken desk chair, worn mattresses,...

“Absolutely beautiful outdoor spaces. House was comfortable and spacious, great for a gathering of people. Could use some updating here and there, but was very clean. We plan on coming back next year!”

“These folks treat you RIGHT!!! Pleasant Clean, located well with choices to dine! Whenever we travel to Newton, well well stay here. No doubt!! ”

“This property was very clean and reasonably priced”

“We had a wonderful stay! The property is clean and spacious, in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything and very comfortable.”

“It was great! Above and beyond on the amenities”

“This is a junk house. I cancelled and checked out immediately after seeing the room with torn curtains not hanging on the valance, non functional TV. Cigarette butts all over the grounds. I could go on.”

“Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The house was a perfect fit with plenty of room for our group. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!”
