“Very much a party/wedding venue. A very large hotel and hard to park anywhere near the entrance. Room was good and although wedding going on it was quiet in the room.”

“The hotel was fine. However, the prices of the drinks were pretty dreadful. At the main entrance there is a help yourself shop for crisps, drinks ect.. these prices were an ABSOLUTE JOKE. £4 for a Kit Kat, £28 for a bottle of wine , in Tesco £9.00. A can of coke £4. A big bag of crisps £6.50.”

“The room we had was dated and need refurbishing. Tired carpet, curtains etc. The bed was uncomfortable with a dip in the middle. Unfortunately on the final night I hardly slept due to scratching, biting sounds coming from the roof space above the bed, which I can only put down to rats or large vermin. The restaurant was ok for breakfast, continental or cooked. The staff were lovely. Parking was easy as well.”

“Vi var ett par som åkte med hund och det var smidigt att ha med honom. Alla var supertrevliga. Rummet vi fick var snarare anpassat för 1 person då vissa saker var framställt för 1 person. Sängen var väldigt smal för 2 personer, det var det ända negativa.”

“Have stayed at the Chase a number of times over the years and this is by far the worst stay, we booked 5 rooms for a 2 night stay , on the Saturday night there was some sort of party going on in the hotel till the early hours of the morning , there was no one at reception to help and the out of hours number wasn’t answered we came down for breakfast on the Monday morning only to be told Breakfast had finished at 09:00 ( we were told 10:00) and that the kitchen was now closed due to repairs to...

“Ok place for business trip. Service was ok but not overtly helpful. No info on latest check-in time at 4pm led to them canceling the room and then rebooking at a slightly higher rate when I arrived. ”

“Just wanted to thank Alex, Savage and Sam for a wonderful weekend. Breafast and room was amazing. Sorry we didnt get to say goodbye, Savage we tried to find you and failed! We all love the Dixie and will be back very soon. Thank you.”
