“The hotel was beautiful and the service was excellent. My only complaint is the rooms are tiny and we had a room with no windows with zero ventilation. At night the room was very hot and uncomfortable to sleep. I had to open the door to the hallway to get any fresh air in the room and cool it down a little. Besides that, the staff was excellent and helpful. Probably would not stay here again unless I had a room with a window or balcony. ”

“Un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo. Vi algunos colibris en el jardín y la familia es muy bonito, habla Quechua y español. Es un camino corto desde el centro de Otavalo pero sentí seguro en caminar allí. So much quieter than other properties in the center of the city. Breakfast is simple but sufficient and I felt safe walking to and from the downtown area for other meals. The owners are wonderful and speak Quechua as well as Spanish. Some beautiful long-tailed hummingbirds were out in the garden.”

“Best hotel in the Otavalo area, with an outstanding view and a very caring service. The fireplace was a particularly nice touch that you don't often find in hotels. While the location and the staff cannot be faulted, the hotel clearly need some renovations in the spa and common areas. Also the rooms could do with a bit more equipment (although the staff did provide everything we asked for). The two local guardian dogs Mia and Tia are incredibly friendly, and the surrounding area is very nice...

“Unfortunately there was an issue with their booking system and, although hotels,com showed that they had 3 nights free, they contacted me the morning of my stay to say they could only accommodate me for 2 nights, and I had to move for that last night, which was a bit annoying. But, saying that, the hotel was very comfortable for those 2 nights, quiet and breakfast was very tasty. And the room was very clean. ”
