“We love the motel vibe and that's exactly what we got! The owner of the property and the restaurant was at the front desk when we arrived, and he was super friendly and helpful. He even gave us some samples of their beef sticks, which were phenomenal, and we highly recommend you ask about! The room was super clean with plenty of towels and an ice-cold refrigerator. “I loved my stay here, except for the bed, which was hard as a titanium hitchball on the back end of an Alaskan snowmobile. I Thought about sleeping on the floor but it looked too soft to get comfortable. It was like sleeping on a pool table that lost its felt. All joking aside, I would stay at this wonderful place again on a heartbeat, but I’m asking for a soft bed. Loved the experience.”

“Cute 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin. I wouldn't say it has a million dollar view (you have to walk to the road to see the million dollar view that is across the road). The only other issues were the bathtub drain - which drained VERY slowly; and two of the burners on the stovetop do not work. For the nightly rate, everything should be in tiptop shape. The upstairs beds were fairly comfortable and the mini splits did a great job of keeping the cabin cool. ”

“It was seriously so cute! Nice & clean. Plenty of space & sleeping areas for our family of 6. Although, we didnt spend alot time actually in the cabin it was nice to come back to a nice cool place to relax for a bit and shower, after an entire evening in the rain (Friday) & full day of sun floating the black river (Saturday). I would highly recommend the Panthers Den to friends/family & if available next year we will be back!!! ”

“Spent a weekend with friends for a local festival. Plenty of room for socializing and 4 rooms for sleeping and privacy. Large front porch was awesome place for morning coffee and sunset happy hour. Living room offered additional location for gathering. The half bath was a convenience on main floor. We did not have the opportunity to to enjoy the hot tub or fire pit but looked like another place to gather. Very private and quiet weekend!”

“The room was very aesthetic and cute! There were just a couple of things we didn’t like being no sugar or cream for our coffee, the tv in the bedroom was low and the walking space was small so I hit my head on it 3 times, and the last day we were there the shower didn’t get hot- we ran it for over 10 minutes and it never got hot. We really enjoyed the vibes and the mood setting lights. We wish the coffee shop downstairs had been available while we were there but we found another one close by!”

“Tucked away between the woods and the river, Jack's Cabin is the perfect getaway spot. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The river and Fagen's Outdoor Adventure is only a mile down the road. Being able to have our dog with us was a huge plus for us. We will definitely book here again. The state park just a mile up the street is a real nice spot to explore and has hibachi grills and picnic tables. So fun to look out the windows from the cabin and see the alpacas. If you are looking for a place that is quiet with absolutely beautiful surroundings. This is the place for you.”
