“Sooo... The Two rooms they attempted to have us stay in were FILTHY. NASTY stains on the covers, handwritten stuff on a wall, old, lousy paint. The pool was out of order and filled w7th algae. A real sweeter birthing place. When we decided Not to stay, the guy at the desk was OK. He checked each room to be sure we didn't damage (or steal?) anything. When we canceled, he charged us $15 "Maid fee" which is laughable. I didn't argue. I'll take that up with our credit card company or Expedia.”

“AC was off in the entire hotel, was told to just wait until the room cooled down: we walked into the room at 88 degrees! Pool is not functioning with no warning on the site. TV was not working until we had someone come down, even then it was stuttering quite often. No cleaning supplies for shower. No coffee maker, even when listed on site. Holes and gunk all over the walls. Do not stay unless DESPERATE!!”

“Very cute and cozy! Spooky af to drive to at night tho. I do wish there was a note about how there were no delivery options and food was very out of the way. Also those TVs are infuriating and glitchy :(Overall, it was the perfect little getaway and we really enjoyed our stay :)PS why is there a light in the shower drain? ”

“Beautiful property. Stayed in Meadow View Cottage. Cottage could use a little updating but overall fit our needs.”

“Honestly this was probably my favorite rental I’ve ever booked. Jennifer’s communications were amazing. The house and amenities exceeded our expectations. I hosted my daughters Sweet 16 and it was the best weekend. I am grateful for the house and the location to spend such a special day with her and her closest friends.”

“The host was great, he responded to messages very promptly with knowledgeable answers. The property was nice, rustic and away from cities and towns. It was centrally located to the State Parks and sites that we planned on visiting during our stay. It was a good home base to leave our dog when we were going to hike some rugged trails that would have been too tough for him. I would definitely consider staying again if find myself back in the area.”

“We loved this property and are already booking again for next year! It is beautiful and secluded the outside area is wonderful with plenty of seating and beautiful scenery. Perfect for eating outside and hanging out and catching up. We never left the property. It is a little challenging to find but once you get the property address our GPS had no trouble finding it. Highly recommend! ”

“We were lucky enough to view the total solar eclipse here. Before and after the event, our family enjoyed fishing, going out on the boat, exploring the creek and lakeshore, roasting marshmallows, and relaxing. The cabin was clean and cozy.”

“This was so quiet and peaceful. We went for the Eclipse and it was remote enough to avoid any kind of crowds and noise. It is very small, but perfect for us. Had the feel of a four seasons room with kitchen, bed and bath, plus a screened in porch. We loved it.”
