“Parking is easy and breakfast is great. The bathroom and rooms overall are a bit dated but still serviceable. Location is very close to all of downtown Newton”

“I found the bed to be inadequate to sleep comfortably. I don't know if it was too soft or the lower metal frame that was flexing like a metal can, but I could not find a comfortable spot and I slept across the top of the bed where the pillows usually are. I did these 2 nights and then left; the staff were nice but the bed was terrible”

“It was really cold, and I didn’t realize I needed to use a space heater. It was tucked away in the room and no one mentioned that there was no central heat. Also very loud and echoey, as you’d imagine from an elementary school. But it was really interesting architecturally. ”

“As soon as you enter the building, there is an overwhelming sewer smell. The man at the desk was not at all friendly. I am used to staying at the cheapest motels I can find and don't expect much, but the smell was hard to endure.”

“This property was amazing!! It was clean, well stocked and even decorated for Christmas! The host was in communication before we got to the property and the check in was very easy. We got to see beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We will come back to this property again!!”

“Rooms decent. Property itself bad. Cool, elevator, vending machines all out of order. If you just want to bed to stay in, this is a great cheap place to stay. Rooms were clean, but like every motel needed updating, but clean. Nobody at the front counter, communication between employees and host was poor, had trouble with my VRBO reservation.If it’s just me, not my family, I would stay here again just for the price and it’s proximity to Iowa Speedway”
